Who it's for: All creatives of all abilities and genres - Dragon's Pen Members only
Come along to our second monthly Creative group on Zoom!
The idea is that each month we will be given a prompt - it could be a word, a phrase, a picture...and we have a month to create something inspired by it - whether a poem, a story or a piece of artwork. The choice is yours. We then meet again on Zoom at 4pm the first Sunday of each month, to share and chat and at the end of each meeting a new prompt is given.
The Zoom link will be shared in the WhatsApp and Facebook groups nearer the time. These online events are open to members only and free.

What is it?
Dragon’s Lens is a relaxed photography event for members, combining great food, shared creativity, and a prize ceremony. Submit your photos, vote for your favourites, and celebrate the winners together. You don’t need to be a professional or fancy equipment — just photos you’d like to share.

Submissions and entry fee
Each participant can submit up to five original photos in total, across the following categories (AI generated images are not accepted):

- People
- Animals
- Landscapes or City-scapes
- Manipulated Photographs (using Photoshop or similar, filters etc)
- There is one single submission fee, no matter how many photos you submit (up to the limit). Entry fee: €3
- Entry plus three-course meal: €13

Beginners Patchwork Hand Quilting Workshop
Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th - weekly until June
Location: Neuvy St Sepulchre

Price: €15 which provides you with everything you need, then the following weekly suggestion is €2 to cover tea/coffee/electric etc.
Thank you all who put their names down to join the Patchwork Quilt Workshop, they are running from 4th March, weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays until June - currently the workshops are fully booked.
If anyone wants to join the current project but didn’t put their names down contact Jodi to see if she can set up a separate session for you. We want everyone who wants to be involved to have an opportunity to join us. As there are more exciting projects being planned for the future, anyone who wants to put their names down for the next Patchwork Project please contact jodi@dragonspen.com

Author's Afternoon at the English Library
Saturday 28th at 2pm until 5pm

Who it's for: It's for published or soon-to-be published authors and anyone who wants to support them.
The Authors' Day in La Souterraine is a lovely community event at the English Library where members of Dragon’s Pen both published and aspiring authors will be sharing readings, chatting about their books, and signing or selling copies. There’ll also be opportunities to ask questions and meet the writers behind the stories. Even if you’re not an author yourself, we’d absolutely love you to come along and support us. Come and enjoy a relaxed afternoon celebrating local writers, stories, and creativity.
