June 2026
Creative Workshops Day
Sunday 14th, 10am to 5pm

Price: 20€ for up to 3 workshops (with 6€ surcharge, for just one of the options) - from 5th June, tickets are being sold for individual workshops at 10€ each - Ticket sales close 12th June at 5pm.
There will be a range of creative workshops all around 1.5hrs, including watercolours, writing for beginners, hand-sewing, wax-scented decorations, wire bookmark making, creative mentoring, a creative session, and more. Come and enjoy a lovely day out amongst like-minded people. There will be a pop-up café on site - sandwiches, cakes, and drinks. We will also have a pop-up creative shop showcasing the creations of our members.

The Dragon's Pen Writers' Group - ZOOM

Anthology 2027 - ZOOM

Poetry with Kate Rose

A new monthly endeavour run by the wonderful poet and valued Dragon, Kate Rose, along with the poetry@gouzon group. This online group is a place where poetry lovers can meet and talk freely about poems and poets, followed by an optional thirty minutes after the group for attendees to write together if they wish.

Who it's for: All creatives of all abilities and genres - Dragon's Pen Members only
Come along to our monthly Creative group on Zoom!
The idea is that each month we will be given a prompt - it could be a word, a phrase, a picture...and we have a month to create something inspired by it - whether a poem, a story or a piece of artwork. The choice is yours. We then meet again on Zoom at 4pm the first Sunday of each month, to share and chat and at the end of each meeting a new prompt is given.
The Zoom link will be shared in the WhatsApp and Facebook groups nearer the time.
These online events are open to members only and free.

2026 Anthology Celebration

Fête de la peinture de Verneuil sur Igneraie
Sunday 30th August, from 9am (or before for set up) until 7pm

Who it's for: Anyone - the Dragon's Pen will be taking a double or tripple stand for members.
This is an amazing day for creatives and visitors alike. If you'd like to take part in the competition - please see the details HERE and let us know if you want to be part of it under the Dragon's Pen Stand - everyone will still have to pay their own entry fee.
As part of the day there is the brocante through the village, food, music and more. There are art materials prizes for all participants in the competition and 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for each category - it is a well organised friendly event. This is it's 28th year!! Debi and Caitlin have been going for many years, and for the last two, our member Jo has entered and won her category each time.
